We recently returned from a WDW vacation and stay at WH. I want to write up a full vacation review, but with a toddler that may be a while so I wanted to write up something quick here.

We rented from www.vacationcentralflorida.com. Dave & Patti were wonderful to work with pre-stay and the Donna (the Property Manager) was great during our stay. We stayed at 7682 Sir Kauffman. The house was identical to the video and in pretty good shape. The house was very clean for the most part and I only pulled out cleaning supplies for the washing machine.

We did have an issue or two and these were handled very quickly and efficiently with the utmost professionalism. We really liked how secure and quiet WH felt. We were at all the parks in under 15 minutes (with the exception of MK and then we were at the TTC in under 15). Honestly it was closer to 10 minutes.

We got take out from the Outback nearby, ate at the Chick Fil A several times, and ordered delivery from Giordano's. All of which were very good and much more affordable than Disney food.

We enjoyed the experience enough that we are planning ahead to next year and are planning to rent from Dave & Patti again although we may go with a condo next time just to save a bit of money.

Thank you for sharing! We are seriously considering vacationcentralflorida for our Nov 2014 trip. Do you mind sharing what your issues were?

One issue was all on us, we forgot to bring the page with the door code so I had to call and get it. I got ahold of Donna right away and she was able to give us this over the phone.

The pool heater broke. It would turn on, but would not stay on. We were told that this was the first time that it had been used for the year. A repair person was called and arrived the next day to fix the problem. All the pool maintenance is outside so we did not have to be in the unit in order for the issue to be resolved. Our pool heat fee was refunded immediately (and without us asking) for the inconvenience.

As a side note about pool heat...when we arrived it was in the low 70's and the pool was chilly. However, by the time the heat was fixed the temps had heated up to the high 80's and it was too warm for pool heat. We felt like Goldie Locks with the porridge. Florida weather makes it hard to predict exactly when heat is needed, although it is usually easy to know when you will not need pool heat. Since we tend to travel in December we understand that we may run into the same issue in the future. This is one of the things that is making us consider a condo over a townhouse. The townhouse was wonderful, but we did not need the extra space and the pool was really the only selling point for us. We actually would have preferred a condo with a small child since they are one story inside the unit.
