Windsor Hills Resort - Jewel of the Sun

Has anyone stayed at the Jewel of the Sun 3 bedroom 3 bathroom town home? We are looking to stay there, and were curious if anyone else has already rented. This is my first time renting directly from an owner. How do I verify that these people actually do own this town house before sending them any payment? Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide to someone who is new at this. I will post a review of our trip after we are back.

I just typed in all their info into the site and everything looked ok to me, I hope I did everything right. The only thing that was different was where I sent the deposit, their home address was different on that site. Don't know what that means????? We are also booked with them for June, she was very nice and gave me numbers on how to contact her, but I am way too trusting of people. Thanks for posting this site. If anyone has stayed there please post, now I am getting worried and wondering if maybe I should have done more research.

We haven't stayed in this TH, but we have reserved one in WH as well for May that has no online guestbook and hasn't been reviewed on this site. I was able to find the owner's listing on the county Web site, which did make me feel better. It's a leap of faith at this point - but it seems like there are many more reputable owners out there than shady ones. Good luck!
