Windsor Hills- Condo, townhouse and parking questions

We are looking at a few different condos and townhouses at Windsor Hills online. Assuming townhouses have parking right out front, which is great. But many seem to have splash pools out back, which frankly terrifies me. We don't have a pool at home and have little kids, including VERY active 2 & 4 year old. I am sure they are secured properly, but I don't think I will be able to relax in a home that has a pool. For this reason, I am leaning towards the condos. The condo buildings look more condensed, which isn't as appealing, but I can live with that as long as parking is close by. Can anyone fill me in on parking access for the condos? Is the lot directly next to the buildings? Are there separate lots for each building?

Last year we stayed at WBC and loved it, but the parking was tough in evenings when parks closed (and we love doing the parks at night). My husband would drop me at the door with the double stroller and 5 kids, and I would take the elevator to the unit (our unit at the very end of a long hallway). We would wake 3 kids up to walk, and load the other 2 in the stroller. My husband would have to find a spot in the parking garage (not near our building), and make the walk back. Not the end of the world, but definitely an inconvenience at 12:30AM. Not sure I would stay here again with small kids for this one reason. I want to book a condo at Windsor Hills knowing we can park and head inside easily. I don't mind an elevator ride if we can both take them inside together. If we each carry one of the smaller kids, then we won't need to take the stroller out. Ideal!

Advice welcome!

The condo buildings are surrounded by parking, rather than a large lot. You may or may not be able to park directly in front of an entrance door, but you're not usually far away.

We have stayed in a condo twice at WH and parked right outside our building most days. I think there's was only 1 or 2 occasions when we had to park a bit farther away but it's easy to drop off and then let the driver park. It was still pretty close.

We stayed in a top floor condo with 3 bedrooms. Very good value, great to have 2 bathrooms and a washer.

Have also stayed in the THs about 5 times. The pool has never been a problem, there is a safety net that pulls in front of the patio doors just in case your children get out. The stairs are quite steep in the TH so you may be better in a condo?

Yes, I thought about the stairs, too. We have a fairly steep staircase at home that is hard wood and they do well with it. But we have a gate up. I think condo would be easier in the long run.

We stayed at WH in 2015 in a 3rd floor condo and LOVED it. Each condo building has its own "parking lot" in front of it. You park, walk down a sidewalk towards the building and then either take the stairs or elevators if you aren't on the ground floor. Building 8 is right next to the clubhouse (we stayed in building 8 and it was perfect) and building 7 sits next to 8. Both are in a good location for resort amenities. Highly recommend WH.

Tons of parking by the condos, but also the town houses have a really secure fence around the pool, and the sliding door is locked where no child could reach it without a ladder.

The only time we had issues was when we got home really late and had to walk to the far side of the parking lot. Added *maybe* 30 seconds to the walk!

Is there a parking fee for Windsor hills condo? Can't seem to find that info on their website. Thx!

We did a Windsor hill condo a couple years ago and were consistently able to park within 3 or 4 spots of the stairway opening.
