Windsor Crossing outlets/ Detroit shopping

What are these like? Are they easy to get to from the tunnel/bridge? We're x-border back-to-school shopping this weekend and I might stop there on the way back.....if I have any money left. LOL

Also, I thought we go to 12 Oaks Mall at Novi this trip. Anyone been there?

12 Oaks in the best mall in the Detroit area as far as I am concerned. I lived in Windsor until last month and we would go there just about every weekend. You can get to Windsor Crossing easily from the bridge as it is just north of it on the 401. I wouldn't hold out much hope of finding anything there that you can't get for less in the States.

I agree with everything said here. I live in Windsor and rarely shop at Windsor Crossings. It may be a true outlet mall in that it carries last season's styles but I find it expensive. I love Twelve Oaks Mall though!

Thanks!!! Looking forward to shopping at 12 Oaks. I've done most of the big Detroit-area malls but not this one. We're staying at an airport hotel since dh is flying out Monday morning for work. It seemed not too far off the beaten path to hit this mall if we come the Sarnia way.
