Window decorating still at Resorts ?

I am wondering if the art of window decorating is dying at Disney Resorts? The last time we stayed at Pop Century 2019 we were very disappointed that there has been a decline in decorated windows. There were only a handful of windows decorated. I loved doing this and looking at other windows that are decorated. I hope that it is still a thing to do cause our 8 yr old Grandson is going with us in Sept 2022 and this is his first trip. I thinking this would be fun for him to help me with. Do you decorate the window when you stay?

We've alway found the window decorations to be a very hit or miss thing. Only occasionally would any be seen. If you do decorate, please remember Disney's prohibition agains damaging the room - so no tacks or adhesives

Oh yes we will only use tape, window clings, and a few toys. Thank you.

I was at POP Sept 2021 and lots of windows were decorated. I'd say the art of window decorating is not dying at Disney Resorts.

I've always seen plenty of windows decorated any time I've been at Pop or Movies in the last year or so. CBR also had a bunch decorated when we were there last month. I don't think it's dying out, I think it may just depend on the people who are staying at any given moment.

I mostly see it at Value resorts, especially near Christmas

It's not a thing at DVC resorts. DVC doesn't permit decorations being seen from the outside of the villa.

Makes sense that I haven't seen it then. We do all sorts of different resorts, but when we stay Value it's always Art of Animation in the Cars areas, where they have interior walkways.

I've most commonly seen it at the Values during cheer competitions.

If you're the only decorated window yours will STAND OUT!!!
I did over New years eve 2020/21 since it was my daughters B Day. We were in a 50's bldg at POP that probably had next to no guests because we didn't see anyone. Didn't stop me !!!!
