Will you be getting the Swine Flu vaccine?

1) I already had the swine flu.
2) The shot is too new with not enough information on it's side effects. In the 1970s, the swine flu vaccine hurt more people than it helped! (Guillian-Barre anyone?)

I had guillian-barre last year, so i can't really get any vaccines anymore.

no. i don't normally get vaccines, but i agree that this one is way too new. and no one knows what's going to be the side effects. and i mean, really, swine flu isn't THAT bad. you just have to keep yourself hydrated.

i refuse to get the hpv vaccine for the same reason.

noooo. i wont. the swine flu itself wouldnt be as bad. i have friends who had it and it was no problem for them, it was more for the little kids in their house. they went on tammyflu and were fine

Pnuemonia shot = huge welt on arm for 2-3 weeks.
Flu shot = get sick anyway.

I've had pnuemonia hmm, 4 or 5 times? Clearly, giving me a shot for that is not gonna work.

My doctor doesn't want me to get Gardasil, either. It's WAY too new (5 years old, maybe?) and hasn't been tested nearly enough.

With my bad immune system/reactions to shots? Not a good idea.

Though I have to get chicken pox shots every so often. Because if I get chicken pox, I could die. No joke. Something to do with that strand of virus and my FA.

same. i think i have every shot i need, save for the meningitis. the only reason i don't have that yet is because in my state, we don't need it before college. i will be getting it though.
gardasil is just too new with too many varied side effects. with my somewhat weakened immune system, it's a no.

I'm not sure yet...if i can help it then absolutely no! I am horrible w/ needles and shots and stuff like that. But if my school makes us all get them then I don't think I will have a choice. I'll just have 2 warn the nurse that I might faint when she's done!

I don't even get the flu vaccine.
Even if it wasn't as new as it is, I wouldn't get it.

Nope, I hardly ever get any vaccines. I didn't even get the regular flu shot. I'd rather just get the swine flu and never get it again then get a shot (I hate them).
