Will we see the lit-up castle??

We are in WDW from the 12/12-12/16. All but the 14th is a party night. My dd is singing with her choir in the CP at EP on the 14th so that night is out for getting over to MK. We are bringing grandparents who have never seen Cinderella Castle lit up. If we stay in MK until they kick us out at 6pm on another night, will we get to see the castle lit? TIA!

A Frozen Holiday Wish Lights up the Castle nightly at 6:15 for all guests .
For some reason it is not on their calendar but I would doublecheck the timing with the times guide available when you enter along with the map brochure handout. I think guests remain on Main Street to shop. The attraction lines are cutoff at 6:00 p.m. and day guests exit down Main Street and the party guests are entering behind Main Street Candy Shop...

Day guests cam stay inside the park until 7pm when they are asked to leave because mvmcp starts. The lighting is in fact at 6:15 so everyone can see it
Both of my kids did the cp for the 4 years they were in high school, i hope she enjoys it, make sure she eats or beings a sandwich with her, Disney stopped giving the kids food before the performances and now only gives then a small bag of pretzel

Don't worry, you can stay for the 6:15p lighting. We're doing the same

MK knows many day guests will stay to watch this showing before leaving. They have another lighting for the party guests around 8:15p.

We were there last week and were heading for the exit since it said MK closed at 6. We got to see the castle lighting at 6:15.
