will we see a towel animal during our stay?

will we definately see a towel animal during our stay, or do they only do this once in awhile. I know my kids will love this, we are staying at all star music suites!

It's hit or miss from what I can tell. We stayed at POP for 10 days this year and didn't see one, didn't see one at CBR either.

We've stayed onsite 13 times and only got towel animals at the Contemporary. It just depends on you mousekeeper

We got 3 of them during our 7 day stay at Pop last March. My kids did made some really cute mousekeeping envelopes and we left a tip each day, not sure if this makes a difference.

We just got back from POP and didn't get any. My sister did for 2 of the 8 nights. I spoke to another guest who told me that she requested them from her mousekeeper and then started getting them. Ya, I tipped daily, but still didn't get one. I could have asked, but just decided to not bother with it.

It's so hit or miss we have had them some of the time and nothing others when the neighbors had many in their windows taunting us

These were from a small 4 day trip at POFQ in Oct they just kept multiplying as the trip went on.

It really just depends on the mousekeeper. The only place we have ever received them was the FW Cabins and they were waiting for us every day...........the kids were in love!!

OH I hope we get some! They are so cute, I know I my kids would love them. I guess we'll see.

We have never gotten one at ASM but have never not got one at WL!! WE have had one every single day we have been there. Had a really huge alligator one day that almost scared me and DS thought that was too funny. We did tip for great service at WL, though not just to get the animals, but did not tip anything for just the basic clean at ASMo. WE will be at pop and I really did not expect to get any at a value but we will see now.

Lots of trips, never gotten one (they are less frequent in DVC, which is where we've been for the past few years - but I've stayed at CBR/Poly/AKL/WL as in non-DVC accomodations and have never gotten one).

You almost always get them on DCL. At WDW its a magic (read rare) treat.

Some trips we have and others we haven't. Type of hotel (value vs deluxe) doesn't matter -- nor does leaving a tip. We have gotton more towel Mickey ears than critters though.

I make up Mousekeeping envelopes and leave a little note with a daily tip of $1 per person in our room.......and we have gotten towel animals each time.

it aslo may depend on if the mousekeeper has spare time that day. the hotel my mom used to work at (ok not the best example) gave each cleaner 25 mintutes per room.

We stayed at the YC last year and our mousekeeper mad two or three towel animals a day. She also moved their stuffed animals around to decorate with them. I think it helps if you leave a tip for them. We left $5 a day in "Thank You Mousekeeping" envelope.

We just returned from 4 nights at the Contemporary and two nights at AKL. We left a tip every day and did not get a single one a Contemporary. We didn't get one the first day at AKL, but the next day I asked mousekeeping if they did made them and she said yes would I like her to make us some and of course I said yes. When we returned we had a duck, a rhino, rabbit, and on the bathtub she had arranged the bath mat and bathclothes to look like a mushroom. It does pay to ask.

My 3-yr-old dd and I stayed at WL this December and received a towel animal every day -- 2 rabbits, ghost, bear, cat, and a chicken! I didn't expect it all, it was a nice surprise for my daughter!
