We've been dreaming of this trip since the day we came home from our last one in Oct. of 2010.
We've had a hard couple of years. DH moved 8 hours away to live with my parents for a new job and we were apart for a year. Then in April my step dad passed away from pancreatic cancer. We NEEDED a trip!
So it was decided! We decided that this would be our once in a lifetime trip. We splurged for 9 nights at Wilderness Lodge Nov. 12-21 and were absolutely thrilled!
I started planning customs, ordering bows, booking ADRS and lurking on the Dis every night.
And then, one Sunday morning a month ago I stepped wrong. One tiny step that literally left me screaming in pain and unable to move. I have SI Joint Dysfunction with makes life a little difficult but I had been seeing a chiropractor and I thought we'd be ok. Now, after laying face down unable to sit or stand for more than 5 minutes for the last month, Im not so sure. Today I had a cortisone shot and am feeling a little hopeful so we're continuing with planning. Please keep your fingers crossed for us!
