Will We Finally Bump in to Wayneg and Family? - Live Trip Report

OLCI completed for this year's 4 week trip from the 8th July - 5th August. The plan is our first visit to SSR for 10 nights (with free DDP so hopefully I'll be better organised this year and post pics ), 6 nights at Madeira Beach and then the remaining time at our usual villa in Indian Creek. Looking forward to our annual Disney fix, trying out FP+ for the first time (DS has already had a very positive experience), lots of lovely food both on and off site, relaxing on the Gulf Coast, bumping into lots of pupils from my school (always seem to mange that without trying! ) and perhaps catching a glimpse of our DISBoards hero Wayneg! Better get on with the packing then!

i think it was 3 years ago that i finally bumped into Wayne, Karen and Matt!!
it was really exciting - truly!!
it was in the middle of the stupid toy story rope drop mini-marathon...

i had managed to race to close to the front of the FP line to get our FPs (oh the good old days) and was walking along the standby line looking for the rest of my family when who should be there waiting in line?? Karen, Wayne and Matt!!

Karen looks JUST like her pictures and her face jumped right out at me!!
i mean, there was a literal sea of people in line for that silly ride, but I'd seen so many pictures of Karen's lovely smiley face, i couldn't miss her.

i ran up to them and threw my arms around them! - gosh they must have thought i was nuts!!! certifiable!!
but i was so excited to see them! finally!!

but i had to race off and try to find my family so i said hi and buy and ran off...

but then, several rides later, i bumped into them again - this time with the rest of my family in tow. of course, my family, who have nothing to do with the dis, were a bit standoffish. But still it was fun to see them again!!

so yes, i totally get the title of your thread!!
