Will we feel cramped in two BLT 2-bedrooms?

We are planning our first trip home in October. There will be 13 people total - 9 adults and four kids, including an autistic 15 year old boy, girls who will be 12 and 9, and my daughter who will 3 at the time of the trip. We have two 2 bedroom Lake View rooms booked at BLT.

I realize this is a subjective thing, but has anyone had this size group split between two rooms, and did you feel like there was enough space? We are going to try and let everyone do their own thing (it is my wife and daughter, my two sisters and my brother and their families, and my parents), so we might not all be in the rooms at the same time, but I'm guessing there might be nights when the kids stay in to watch a movie with Nana and Papa while the parents hit the parks late; or times when we all want to have a meal together in the room.

We toured a two bedroom model when we bought last August, and it seemed a little small. I'm just looking for some real world experiences with this. Thanks!

It may depend on how you plan on splitting the groups. The most we've had in a two bedroom is five adults and that was comfortable. We had two in the master bedroom, two in the studio portion and one on the couch bed. One more person in the studio wouldn't have been a problem but that would have maxed it out for us. BTW it was Me, DW, DD16, DS21 and DDIL23 at BWV.

I agree with the last poster. It will depend on how you spread out between the 2 rooms and how close you are to your family. I usually get a 2 BR for 5 of us (me, DH, FIL, 2 girls 8 & 9). We take the master, give FIL the studio side and the girls the pull out. The last trip we went for two studios because we have been starting to feel cramped with having FIL around all of the time. We all got along much better on the last trip. :)
