We cruised the first week in July and STILL do not have any of our Castaway Club information yet. Is this the norm?? I am a little disappointed as we have already booked another cruise for 2003 and would liked to have seen the Castaway Club info first. By the way, is it a newsletter or what is it?? Look at me complaining that I have not gotten it yet and I don't even know what IT is:rolleyes:I wanted to wait until we got the info since I was told there is a credit for re-booking What type of credit do you get for for cruising again?? Is it room credit?? Thanks for any info.

I would pull out your old documents or reservation sheet from July (I'm assuming you're a packrat like me) and give DCL a call. Seven months is too long and it may have been lost in the mail. I remember that we did not receive our Castaway Club packet (it consists of a brief letter and two pins - mine were both broken) for about five months after we cruised. I remember this because I no longer qualified for the rebooking offer in the packet due to the fact that it had to be booked 120(?) days after your last cruise. I called DCL and they honored the offer for me.

We cruised at the beginning of January 2000 and STILL haven't received our information! LOL I've called and requested it but still haven't received anything. Gave up hope awhile back. LOL

I went Sept 2001 and havent heard anything either, but by the sounds of it im way down the list compaired to you's

We cruised in January of 2001 and didn't receive my info until November of 2001. During that time we booked two more DCL cruises. I just kept calling and finally it came. Don't give up hope--just keep calling. Nasi

We have cruised twice and recieved nothing. I have called several times, each time they say they are sorry, they re-take our Castaway Cay Club numbers say they will take care of it and we still have not recieved anything!!...smjj

We cruised April 2001 and haven't received anything either. We booked another cruise and they gave me our numbers over the phone and added our credit but still no info. I called back a few months ago to check and still nothing.. I will be happy if we get the credit and return cruiser gift at this point.:)

FYI - I called the 1-800 Castaway Club phone number listed above today and got my CC# and I sailed just one month ago! They just needed my last name and my reservation number.

After seeing these posts I decided to try the 1-800 # and see about my CC membership kit. I spoke to a very nice agent and she thinks my kit went to the TA I used in 2000 (we sailed Aug 26th/00). I have called numerous times and have still not received the package. We have our #'s, and have received the onboard credit, but I would really like to receive my pins and the Insider Magazine's for my Disney Fix. Anyway, she is going to try again to have the people in charge of sending this kit out, to finally do it. I don't have too much hope, but I will keep on trying!

There was a note in my file that I had sent a compliment letter to DCL which she thanked me for and said it was very nice of me to do so.

Same here. Sailed Dec. 2000 and never received anything even after calling a couple of times. We booked directly through DCL so no TA involved. Oh well... I was able to book my next cruise with my membership number they gave me over the phone, so as long as I get my onboard credit and gift I'll be happy at this point. :)

Has anyone go the full telephone number so that i can give them a call please (calling from England)

Thanks

Emma

My two cents worth!
We had to call multiple times before we finally got our membership packet and pins. Someone must have felt bad when they stuffed the envelope because we received 4 pins instead of just two. The newsletter only comes out 2 times a year though so it isn't something to count on. When ours got here it looked like it was supposed to have some cards attached to it and they had bee tore off. I hope someone enjoyed them whatever they were !
