I've never written a pre-trip report before so I hope I do this right
This pre-trippy is really a bit of therapy as I'm feeling just a bit
During our trip last July we decided to buy annual passes
so we the dreary cold months in Iowa dragged on over the winter (more snow this year than I can remember in a long, long time
) we decided that a quick weekend trip to the sunshine state was just what we needed to perk up our sprirts
We planned a long weeked in March, found some great airline rates, and then were trying to decide between a value trip to the Pop and a splurge at the Poly which has always been a dream of ours to stay at
When.....the nast word called "work" reared it's ugly head
and the dreams of warm Florida sunshine met the reality of more weeks in the cold snows of Iowa
But we weren't to be defeated quiet yet. What's a sunshine seaking, Disney lover to do... well plan another trip that's what
So we decide that mid April will work best with our schedules. We can take advantage of DS's day off school and the pics of the Flower & Garden show make it seem like a can't miss event
That dear reader brings us to the nasty, crappy, (well input the word of your choice) reality of today...
No we are not watching the palm trees sway in the breeze, no we are not soaking up the Florida sunshine, instead we sit here in cold, rainy, crappy weekend Iowa as work once again smashed our dreams
Up next.... we couldn't be stopped again..... right??????????
