Will we be thrown out?

Hopefully this is a QQ, and can be chalked up to "First visit brainfart" ...

So... Back at 190days, I made some dinner reservations...
... and I have one for 6:30pm at Tony's in MK.
... and then we got selected for the FastPass+ magic band doofrey, and I made some Fastpass+ reservations - inc Meeting Cinderella at the Hall of Awesome between 6:50 & 7:50pm on the same day. It'll be nice, dinner and then meet Cinderella.

... and THEN... I realise that the night we'll be in MK is also a "Not-So-Scary Halloween" night, and I'm thinking "Awesome :D What a great way to round off our trip!" ... we'll have a nice dinner, the kid will meet Cinderella ONELASTTIME before we head home, and then we can watch the parade and fireworks and head back to the hotel.

AND THEN!!!! I realise - you need a separate ticket for the Halloween party!!!!

:-(

But I already have my dinner and fastpass reservations - will they cancel them and throw us out? I read that people start arriving for the Halloween party around 4pm... so... will we be asked to leave? How will they know?

Having priced the tickets - I really don't think that watching a parade and fireworks is really worth $260 :-(

What will happen? Will we be thrown out?

I really don't want to end our vacation on a sour note...

You will be asked to leave at 7:00, when the party officially starts. Up until 7, you can do anything you want.

From what I understand, once your meal is finished a CM will escort you to the front of the park to the exit. You will not be able to visit Cinderella as all attractions from 7PM-12PM are reserved only for people with MNSSHP tickets. So your dinner reservation is ok but if you are not going to buy tickets to the party you will only be able to use your Fp+from 6:50-6:59 which would be impossible if you are at dinner. Btw there is a lot more to do at the party than just fireworks and parade - there is trick or treating, special character meet and greets and a villains show in front of the castle. Plus the fireworks and parade are exclusive to the party (can't be seen anywhere or at any other time). Party guests are given wrist bands so they are easily identified and CMs throughout the park at 7:00 herd guests without the bands to the front of the park to exit.

For a 6:30 adr though, you will be allowed to finish up your meal before being asked to leave, so if you want to keep that ADR you can!

I'm really shocked they would issue a FP for the princess meet & greet at 6:50 on a party night. That really sounds like a mistake on their part. They have been cutting that line prior to 7, when they have enough guests in line to occupy the characters up until 7, but not after.

That could really cause some problems.

But the PP is right....... after your meal, you will not be allowed to head back toward Fairytale Hall. You will be escorted out. You definitely would not be allowed to enter the line after 7, even if you were there in the area.

Just another little "FP Oops" as this thing rolls out.

Cast members start checking for MNSSHP tickets at 7:00 on all attractions, shops, some people have even been checked going into the restrooms. And like others have said, you will most likely be escorted to the park entrance as soon as your meal is over. It's not like EMH where they will allow non-resort guests to linger and shop on their way out of the park.

I thought I had heard on here in prior years that people without Halloween tickets were called and asked to reschedule their ADRs that were originally between 6:30 and 7:00 to an earlier time. I could be mistaken, and I don't think that's a regular occurrence. Just something I'd read.

As others have said, you will be escorted out of the park when you leave the restaurant. I doubt that you would have been able to make it to the Cinderella Meet & Greet even if it wasn't a party night - You probably won't leave the restaurant until at least 7:45 or 8:00.

They allow ADRs any time up to, but not including, 7 PM. So anything up through 6:55.

And it's not like having a FP to a ride. At 7 M they will switch over to party specific characters, so the princesses will have the princes with them.

When they first opened TST, they really botched the handling of this on party nights in a HUGE way. They were allowing day guests to enter that line up until 7 PM, and they had to clear though before the party guests could get in. So party guests getting in line at 7 PM would have to wait 45 minutes to an hour before they could see them. Day guests were seeing the party characters before people who had actually paid for tickets. After many complaints, they finally switched how they were handling things and started cutting that line in advance of 7 PM so there was time for the day guests to clear through by 7.

I sure hope their handling of FP+ doesn't cause that mess again.

OOOO I really hope they don't ask me to reschedule my BOG that is at 6:15 on a party night! It was the only time and date I could get it and we aren't planning on going to MNSSHP this year. We were fully prepared for our escort to the front of the park - even prepped the kids for that. Can someone else let me know if that has happened this year???
STRESS

They won't - you're fine.

I can't possible imagine that they would make you reschedule a 6:15 dinner ressie because of a party. You can stay until you are finished with dinner and then leave the park right afterwards (go to the bathroom before you leave the restaurant :) ).

HUGE Sigh of relief. Thank you!
And thanks for the tip on making sure we use the bathrooms before we leave BOG!

We were at MNSSHP last year and I know how diligent the CM's are when 7pm comes around! We had our wrist bands in the air everytime we saw a group of CM's approaching LOL

We had a 5:30 reservation at Be our guest restaurant that same night park closed at 7 for night of joy after dinner I couldn't believe my eyes it wasn't 7:00 yet I would say was around 6:40 ish we were taking by a CM and walked out of the park they made sure our party was all together the whole way and walked us all the way out !! Don't think they will let you go anywhere after dinner

1. For days with MNSSHP or MVMCP you can get in starting at 4:00pm with a Party ticket and you will receive a wristband showing you are authorized to attend the Party. Note that people at the Disney Reservations Center are required to tell you that you cannot enter MK on your Party ticket prior to 7:00. This information is not correct. And we don't know why they require this misinformation.

2. If you are already in MK, after 4:00 there will be several locations within MK where your ticket will be processed and you will be given a wristband.

3. If you do not have a Party ticket at 7:00 the Magic Kingdom is officially closed to you and you must leave the Park.

4. Without a wristband you cannot enter the line for any show or ride and you cannot enter any food service location or any store. You will not be allowed to make any purchases from any kiosk or wagon. You might be allowed to use the restrooms.

5. If you are already in a merchandise shop at 7:00 you will be permitted to make a purchase, but you will not be able to purchase any party-themed merchandise. If you are in a quick service location you will be allowed to make a purchase.

6. If you are at a Table Service location without an ADR you will not be seated, or if your ADR is for 7:00 or later you will not be seated. Note that even if you had a CC guarantee you will not be seated and you will forfeit the guarantee as you do not, at that time, have valid park admission.

7. There will be CM "blockades" at various points within the park looking for wristbands. For the first half hour or so you will not be permitted deeper into the Park and you will be asked to leave. If it is past 7:30 and you are caught in a blockade or sweep you will, at that time, be escorted to the front of the Park and out the Gate.

8. If you are line up for a parade and do not have a wristband you will be escorted out of the park.

9. And if you do not cooperate with the CMs Security will be called.

I been watching an app for FP times and all those rides are done before 7pm with the FP return.

they close the line at 6pm to allow those people through in order to open it back up at 7pm for party people

I would go in and change that time now while you can

Thanks all!

Hopefully I can sort out the Cinderella thing - it's my DD's birthday that day.
Can you imagine?
We get all the way down there, spend 5 days, and on our MK day, HER b'day, she doesn't get to meet Cinderella?
Oy.
