We have 4 nites bllked June 14 at ASMu - 2 rms -4 adults 2 5 yr. olds...
we have never been in the summer... how bad will the crowds be and will we have to stand in line for ever ? The little girls are good but not sure how much they can stand as far as hot long lines. Wish our trip was for longer, but this is all we can do for now. Any one experience this type trip at this time of year and any advise?
Thank you kindly! :sunny:

The Fast Pass option really helps. We grab FPs and then go do less populated things. For example at MK, we FP on BLSRS and go ride TTA and browse a gift shop.

we will use fp also as much as possible... I've been reading too many guide books and they scare me about the crowds... will make the best of it no matter, but any tips are a help!:sunny:

We always went the last week of June/first week of July and never had a problem. We just didn't go on some rides. It took us till our third trip to ride Test Track (that was the first year that Fast Pass started)
Just get to the parks early and ride the rides that are important to you and your kids and use Fast Pass whenever possible. Leave the parks when it gets crowded and go swimming back at the hotel. This was always DS favorite thing to do  And head to another park in the evening. DS loved to go to the parks late at night, especially e-ride nights, if they are offered. He thought is was the coolest thing to stay at the park until 2am riding rides!
Make sure you don't have to do everything! you will have a much better time.

hopefully the MK will have late hours when you go. are you staying on property? if so take advantage of the early hour get there, get your fast passes see what you can and be getting ready to leave that park by around noon or so, head back to hotel and get refreshed then either go to a different park or head back to MK for the evening when things are a little cooler.

I would agree with everyone who says take a break. I would also resign myself to the fact that oyu are not going to see everything in the amount of time oyu have, so pick the "must dos" and take the rest as they come. You don't want the whole trip to feel like all you did was run around in the heat with cranky kids, do you? It's vacation...relax and enjoy!

Bring or rent a stroller for the 5 year olds. They may seem a little bit old for one, but you'll find it useful when they tire out (or get tired of waiting in line).
