just about anything. Any takers??

  Ummmm . . . . there's a reason they're born as cute, cuddly babies. No one would keep them if they came as teens! ;) Right now I have enough with one just finished with & one rapidly approaching the teen years. Sorry. You have my sympathy, though! :D

Deb

Does she clean kitchens and bathrooms? If so, I got a dachshund I might be willing to trade with you. :)

The dachshund would probably learn how before she would get to it.

Laurie,

I am beginning to understand! John-Cole has gotten where almost everything that I say he rolls his eyes at me! Hes 11...uugghhh I DO NOT look forward to the next 7 years!!

At least she was so kind as to tell me how long my sentence was. 14 months. 14 whole months until she turns 18 and moves out.

She'll be a senior, it'll be before graduation, before her prom, before she's in college.

I guess I won't have to worry about paying for all that now. :teeth:

At the rate she's going, I'll have her packed and ready to go on her birthday.

I'm tryign to trade mine too. He wanted to listen to the radio at the park today, and grabbed the car keys while I was occupied helping a friend get her stuff to her car (well I was carrying the baby, she was carrying the stuff). Anyway he locked the keys in the van with the radio blasting. Luckily the auto club will cover the bill to get the tow truck out so the guy could unlock the van, but we were out of area on the cell phone. He gets to pay the roaming charges.

....got two already!!! :)

I'll trade ya'll your teens for tonight with my 4yr old with a fever, sore throat and a headache... Talk about feeling unreasonable

Serena

Tell her OK, go ahead and move out when you are 18. Car paymet, insurance, rent, utilities, food, clothes, gas for car, etc.

Wait until you see the look on her face LOL!

DS moved back home 3 times before he was able to move out permanently. ;)

This is a rough time for someone her age. They want to be a grownup, out on their own, feel independance. But deep down, without her admitting it, God forbid, she knows she needs you and is frustrated by that, and it bugs her.

{{HUGS}} I know what you are gong through. Hang in there girl.

But she's been like this since age 11. She's always wanted to be her own boss and have no one expect anything from her, especially no consideration for anyone else. She's on my nerves tonight and you know what, she isn't even here.lol

I'm so NOT looking forward to my dd being a teenager. Tell me the bossiness stops before age 13.;)

Sorry she's on your nerves, Laurie. {{hugs}}

Yes, but does she do well overall? My 11yodd is all of that plus AN AIRHEAD. She is getting some bad grades & getting mad. I've been yelling at her to realize SHE DOESN"T STUDY...DUh.
I think she got the point today as I am going thru her stuff with a fine tooth comb.
I told her you don't want me going thru your stuff then do better.

YEA sure I'll trade, lol.

Well, yeah she does well in school. She has lots of friends, and every other parent out there loves her. She acts like I taught her to act in public, just not with me.
Besides being a pain, she is a good kid. Just don't ask me to give her compliments when I'm mad at her, it ruins it. lol

I could trade an aging dog, but on second thought, I don't think so!!! Haven't had a teenager here for 10 years, and that is just fine with me!!!

One teenager will be gone, and then the other will start in. lol At least it's only one at a time. :)

Serena it's been many years since I had a teen, but I can still remember those years. I think thats when I started coloring my hair. Having gone through 4 teens I can tell you I've had my share. Sorry to say no takers here. Good luck!

Just a little note, mine always threatened to move out too. I have to tell you they were in their late 20's when they finally left. Guess what! they sometimes come back with family. Son, DIL and DS moved out this summer and I can honestly say while I miss them, it's great to have my house back.

Hang in the Serena, it gets worst before it gets better, but it does get better.

My Grandson will be 13 next year, I always tell my daughter, Pay Back. She gets furious with me. I have to say thought I think she's the one who gave me all the grey hair.
