So will this be an issue?

Our friends are traveling with us in Sept. The other day we helped them set up their MDE app. It is Husband, Wife, Son. They decided to have everyone on one account. Friends and Family all set up.
Added Disney DVC Rental Hotel Confirmation # to MDE App.
Tried to add tickets. App said it couldn't be done at this time go to the webpage.
Went to the webpage to add tickets.
Not sure how things got out of control, but come to find out, he had two different Disney accounts under two different emails (let's say one was Jimmy and one was James - work email, home email).
So now room is under one account - Jimmy, tickets another - James.
We were able to link the two accounts using the Friends and Family feature.
So all Guests are showing Hotel, and Tickets - James, Wife, Son. (Except the person who technically holds the hotel reservation - no ticket for Jimmy - which is what we want)
Will this be a problem?
He was going to try to call Disney to see if they could unlink the hotel from Jimmy and reassign to James, but didn't know if it was necessary.
The account for James "looks" correct, just not sure if it will create problems later on.

TIA for any help or comments.

Yes, if not now, later it could be a problem. For instance, the room key serves as the park ticket as well! So I would recommend that they call Website Support at 407-939-4357, who will be happy to help merge James with Jimmy! (I had to do this in the past when I "accidentally on purpose" duplicated myself.)

Thank you! I will tell him to definitely get in touch with them just in case. We have plenty of time so I'm not worried about that aspect, just like you said, it very well "could" cause issues.
