Will This Alamo Code / Coupon Work?

Hi,
I've heard of problems at pick up with combining codes and coupons, but I plugged the below listed code/coupon in on Alamo's site, and it went through with no alerts, etc.
For added assurance, after making the reservation, I called Alamo's internet help #, and was told that it will be honored. (Need to have the coupon at pick up)

Here's what I used:
Rate code is 430710
Rate Product Code is BQW
Coupon Code is D6OF

The rate code took off a percentage (I think only 5%), and the coupon took off $20.

The confirmation also highlights the discount and states "coupon code accepted".

All in all, this (hopefully) worked for a mid-size from Dec. 9-14 for a total of $119.74.

If the coupon, code and product code are all from the same place, IE: Sam's Club then it will be honored. If they are say: a coupon from sams, a rate code from BJ's and a product code from another place, then no, it will not be honored.
