Will they move our luggage?

If we move from the Beach Club Villas to the Old Key West resort during our stay will they move our luggage for us? I don't have enough points to cover Friday and Saturday of our stay. Will they move the luggage if we move to the Animal Kingdom Lodge?

Yes, call bell services when you are ready. Luggage can be transferred between Disney resorts, including DVC resorts. It may take some time before your luggage arrives at your new destination.

yes to any WDW resort. They do not move to the S/D or DTD resorts

We ran into some trouble with this on our Labor Day trip. The policy used to be that you just left your luggage in your room with a tip underneath (if so desired). And then went along your merry way. Well, during our last trip bell services said they had a new policy and that you had to wait for them to show up for the luggage transfer. Not a big deal in general, but just make sure you figure this into your timing.

We did this last June (SSR to BCV). Yes, I think we had to wait for them to pick up (so just get packed the night before and call first thing in the morning once you are dressed).

What's really nice is the DVC resorts have walk in coolers in Bell Services to keep your groceries cold (just let them know what needs to be refrigerated).

Even if your room isn't ready, your food will stay good.

We sent one member (me) over to check in to the new resort the morning we switched. I just met up with the rest after that.

Just back. We moved from CSR to SSR and bell services took care of the luggage. No problems.
