We are arriving on July 4th. We'll be staying at the GF. Just wondering whether or not they would allow people to sit on the beach to watch the 4th Fireworks display.

Anyone have any experience with this?

I'm not sure the answer to your question, but I wanted to let you know that the GF beach would not have a view of the fireworks. It faces towards the Wedding Pavilion and the Polynesian.

I would think that they would allow it, but your best view from the GF would be from the boat dock. I think the Polynesian beach offers the best view from a beach.

Cali and Tink are correct and they do let you on the beach at the GF but if you view from there you are better off at the marina. The Polynesian has a great view since the fireworks are shot off behind the castle and the islands out in the Seven Seas Lagoon so you are looking directly at them all from the Polynesian beach other than from an angle at the GF. They do check for resort ID at the Polyensian on the 4th since it is a popular spot for viewing.
