Ok, since I vented (ranted ) on the last page, I figure I owe everyone an update. Finally got it to work. A bottle and a half of draino, 4 1/2 hours, boiling water & a plunger and it finally drained Dishwasher is running now, pots & pans are clean. I'm really ready for a drink now, but that probably wouldn't be a good idea since I leave for work in a little while

Speaking of which, Nicki where are you? Out having fun? Hopefully I'll get to read your afternoon update before work, if not I'll read it tonight Hope you're having a great day

MickeyNicki - I'm so excited to read about this trip you are on! I just can't wait for the next post. It's like sitting on pins and needles! But, I don't want your trip to go to fast for you because it always seems like the time spent there just flies by!

I would love to hear more about the Poly. Me and DH are staying there our first time in September after the DVC Member cruise. Just me and him and no kids!!!! Any advice/recommendations would be appreciated.

The drain in the kitchen sink is apparently clogged A whole bottle of draino and I still have standing water in both sides of the sink along with a dishwasher full of dirty dishes & a counter covered in dirty pots & pans

I really could use a few of the Sunken Treasures and a milkshake or two. Then the sink might not bother me as much

I love reading your trip/dining reviews. I just got back from WDW on Tuesday and I'm already thinking about a Summer trip! We always like to try a few new places to eat at, along with our favorites, so I am looking forward to your reviews and pictures. I'd like to try Captain Cooks. I have never stayed at the Poly, but I have eaten at O'hana and Kona. The menu at Captain Cooks looks interesting.

I hope you enjoyed your lunch at Sci-Fi. We were thinking of eating there this trip, but chose Brown Derby (another favorite) instead.

I hope you tried the lobster eggs benedict at the GFC - my wife and I had it for the first time in December and it was fabulous! The coffee...they only serve Nescacrap there unfortunately.

A great drink (ie. potent) at Tambu is the Zombie.

Ok the Nescrape coffee at the GFC was gross but DH still drank it, I swear he will drink any coffee...breakfast reviews coming up!

This morning we had a ressie at Grand Floridian Cafe. We took a quick monorail ride over and the entire ground floor lobby of the GF was empty. 1900 PF was not full at all, in fact it was very very quiet over there. The GFC was empty as well, maybe 6 tables at the most...we were seated in the very back circle of the restaurant and we were the second couple back there. Had a nice view of the monorail:

We were very confused as to what we wanted to order because we were not that hungry...go figure the booze must have filled us up!

DH had the Nescrape Coffee...I just cannot bring myself to drink that stuff, I would rather have caffeine withdrawls!

And a large glass of very very very pink, unnaturally pink, grapefruit juice.

I stuck with fresh brewed ice tea.

After much hemming and hawing I decided on the regular eggs benedict..I just wasnt hungry enough for lobster this morning and Todd said he wasnt going to eat some if I ordered it soooo...I went plain but instead of asparagus they subbed fruit for me...very nice presentation. The eggs benedict was fantastic except the muffin was very hard and chewy, the ham was tender and not salty, the egg was cooked perfectly so when I cut it open the yolk just oozed thickly all over the plate and the hollandaise sauce was creamy and not too thick and had a light lemon taste....the fruit was sooo flavorful and ripe and perfect!

DH ordered the maple vanilla french toast with bacon. The bacon was very very crispy, he loved it! The french toast was perfect, nice and buttery and sweet and custardy with a crunchy carmalized edges...it was the best french toast he has had on site. Whipped butter and warmed syrup accompanied the toast.

We really enjoyed our breakfast but it was just too much for us..I think we are going to cancel our Kona breakfast tomorrow and go to Main Street Bakery instead...we love it there and will not be too full. I would go back to GFC again in a heartbeat so I can try the other items, the server told us all the items are made to order, including the hash, so you can request heavy onion, no peppers etc...good info to know.

After breakfast we walked through a very empty lobby to a completely empty bus station. Three AK buses breezed by and then one for HS. We were the lone travellers on that bus and when we arrived at HS there was zero lines for bag check and ticket entry. This was a great day, tons of sunshine, warm in the low 70's, no lines for anything. We had a blast!

Mmmm! I love eggs benedict and fresh fruit. Have only dined there once, but I thought the GFC was lovely.
