Apparently from what i read on DLRPmagic they are extending the Davy Crockett ranch soon with treehouses. If its true, im learning to drive and staying in one of them treehouses lol.
This is part of the "Villages Nature" expansion plans - 4 villages
The first on the theme of Water evoke a city lake and will be equipped with aquatic recreation. Sports activities, relaxation and well-being and cultural as well.
The second village is on the theme of the Earth, it will celebrate the French countryside, the land, handicrafts, agriculture. There will meet with farm animals or full of artisans who pass on their art (potter, weaver ... etc.) There are many activities and workshops arouse visitors to the ecology.
The third village will be on the theme of Sport and Health: there is a huge range of sports (golf, canoeing, riding, tennis, climbing, cycling ...). There are also fitness centers and advice on health, nutrition, and training of all kinds (relaxation etc. ...)
Finally, the last village on the theme of the forest be neither more nor less than an extension of the Davy Crockett Ranch. This is the only village to be continuously run by Disney. There is the same concept of accommodation close to nature with a novelty: "houses in the trees".

This a venture with Pierre & Vacances and Centre Parcs and I'm really looking forward to it, although I'm hoping they're planning on running shuttle buses to the park. I think that this development will make DLRP more of a "vacation" style break than a couple of days trip. I really would like to stay at the Water and Earth parks.
and I'm pretty sure there is a new hotel planned for the area between the NPBC and the village, opposite SL. I would love to see something based on a kitch 60's space age theme or think "Meet the Robinsons" - but I seem to remember reading it was likely to be a business/conference type hotel.
