If they will, which I am sure they will have to one day soon!! (And looking at google Maps I think they have a lot of room for expansion.)

What do you think the themeing should be like?

My boyfriend is desperate for any disney resort to do a Phontom Manor type hotel, but I think it would be too scary!

I think an Agrabah Palace type hotel would be awesome!

Apparently from what i read on DLRPmagic they are extending the Davy Crockett ranch soon with treehouses. If its true, im learning to drive and staying in one of them treehouses lol.

Cool, although they ahd treehouses at WDW but had to shut them as they were'nt suitable for Disables visitors.

Maybe DLP will learn from those mistakes though. That would be amazing! I think when I have kids I'll try DCR, although the Eurostar is so easy that driving there just seems like a chore!

Treehouses....????:scared1: I'm not sure about that....what about the beasties?:rotfl: ;) ;) ;)

I would love a playhouse disney themed hotel :rotfl2: but i know that will never happen.

Though if anyone from DLP is reading...PLEASE BRING THE LITTLE EINSTEINS CHARACTERS TO WDS. :lmao:

Ooo yeah, great idea! I'd love that. I'd want all the staff to be the same as the PM cast members and Jack and Sally could be resident characters at breakfast. There'd be posh rooms too with old-looking four poster beds. The grounds would be a graveyard with dry ice machines and there would be a spooky labyrinth in place of a playground.

Might not get many people wanting to stay there though :worried:

I guess there's other themes too... Rome, Egypt, a space centre/rocket theme...

This is part of the "Villages Nature" expansion plans - 4 villages

The first on the theme of Water evoke a city lake and will be equipped with aquatic recreation. Sports activities, relaxation and well-being and cultural as well.

The second village is on the theme of the Earth, it will celebrate the French countryside, the land, handicrafts, agriculture. There will meet with farm animals or full of artisans who pass on their art (potter, weaver ... etc.) There are many activities and workshops arouse visitors to the ecology.

The third village will be on the theme of Sport and Health: there is a huge range of sports (golf, canoeing, riding, tennis, climbing, cycling ...). There are also fitness centers and advice on health, nutrition, and training of all kinds (relaxation etc. ...)

Finally, the last village on the theme of the forest be neither more nor less than an extension of the Davy Crockett Ranch. This is the only village to be continuously run by Disney. There is the same concept of accommodation close to nature with a novelty: "houses in the trees".

This a venture with Pierre & Vacances and Centre Parcs and I'm really looking forward to it, although I'm hoping they're planning on running shuttle buses to the park. I think that this development will make DLRP more of a "vacation" style break than a couple of days trip. I really would like to stay at the Water and Earth parks.:)

and I'm pretty sure there is a new hotel planned for the area between the NPBC and the village, opposite SL. I would love to see something based on a kitch 60's space age theme or think "Meet the Robinsons" - but I seem to remember reading it was likely to be a business/conference type hotel. :worried:

Cool new hotel!

Glad I went for the biggest screen size with my Mac! Lol.

I would like to see a pirate themed hotel!...maye maybe pirates of the caribbean?
And i no it must seem crazy, but it could have like a stream or water going through it??.lol:rotfl: :hyper:

I like the pirate idea, but I'd also like a Sleeping Beauty's Castle type hotel, with princess decor- not suitable for the lads though!

it would be so cool if they could make an indiana jones themed hotel, or something really rock n roll with aerosmith!

My guess, if they build a new hotel, it will have some "American" theme, just like the other hotels (Victorian, New York, New England, national parks, Wild West, Route 66). Maybe some art deco hotel (Miami-style) or mansion-style (think Gone With the Wind and plantations).

However, as far as I read the annual reports, the parks are doing pretty well, but the hotels aren't doing that well. So, I'd rather have they optimize hotel operations BEFORE building/ investing in new ones!

i owuld like to see a pirates theme hotel, plus maybe a pop century style one with colourful larger than life characters.

I really like the pirate idea, but as u were saying about the american theme and the gone with the wind plantation thing. Maybe they could do something like they have in wdw port orleans french quater hotel??.hehe :)

A piratey one would be awesome!! With a big river through it like the Venetian in LV!

I'm surprised to hear the hotels don't do so well. But then they are super expensive!! 9 nights at CSR next may is cheaper than 3 at HNY!!

I would like them to keep to the American theme and think a Port Orleans Riverside mansion type theme sounds like a fab idea.

I think any hotel they build should stick to the Americana theme, otherwise it wouldn't fit in with the theme of the others.

Like others have mentioned, I would like to see a resort simmilar to Port Orleans Riverside - It's straight out of gone with the wind!

I think we could see a new resort soon. Hotel figures are very healthy at the moment, with occupancy around 80%. I think any new hotel would include a conference centre as a way to lure business.

how about a toy story themed hotel, that would be pretty cool :rotfl:
