Will there be any grocery stores open on Turkey Day?

Here's a question for all you holiday travelers. We're trying to rent a car but the prices are high for Thanksgiving week. I wouldn't mind taking a car service but we really need a grocery stop to stock up on water, juice boxes etc.... Does anyone know if there will be any stores open that day? Thanks

not positive but you can probably find wal-mart supercenter open on turkey day. Try giving them a call. There is one on Osceola Prkwy. in Kissimmee, that would be the closest to WDW. Their # is 407-870-2277. If I were in Orlando yet I would offer to take you, however,I am not sure I will be employed in Orlando by that time. If all works out allright I will inquire with you closer to that time.

Heck all the stores are open in CT on Tday, except Wal*Mart (I believe super centers are), I would not doubt for a minute most of them will be open at least part of the day in Kissimmee or Lake Buena Vista.

Orlando knows no holiday! All the grocery stores should be open Thanksgiving. Gooding's will be open for sure -- they're even open on Christmas.

I am pretty sure that Publix will be closed; they are traditionally not open on most holidays. I would imagine that Winn Dixie and Albertson's would have abbreviated store hours.

Not sure about Florida but here in PA everything shuts down for Thanksgiving.
