Will the teenage mutant turtles ever return to the park and get their own ride?

We saw them in November 1990 at MGM.

Nope. I think Nickelodeon bought them, that's Viacom I think.

That is correct. It was a licensed property for many years, but Viacom bought them over a decade ago.

Had no idea they had ever appeared at a Disney park. Its funny to me because a buddy and I were at Disney a few years ag talking about the Turtles because he was friends with Kevin Eastman when he used to live in LA. We both agreed they would have made fun characters for Disney, but obviously neither of us knew they ahd been there in the past!

I found one more photo from 1990; April. Meeting the TMNT was the highlight of our 4 year old's day!

In 1990 I was seven and I swear that would have been the highlight of any trip with me too! April and Casey Jones were personal faves

Related note, Viacom needs to make a theme park deal with Universal. Get some TMNT and Spongebob rides into those parks...

TMNT and Spongebob both have multiple rides in Nickelodeon Universe in Mall of America in Minneapolis- the one called "Shell Shock" is really fun, and different from any ride I've ever been on.
