We are going to disney Aug30 through Sept. 8 Just wondering if anyone has been down there over the Labor Day weekend and how busy the parks are. I made our schedule so that we are going to use the weekend as water park days or DTD days. Should we try and go into a park?:confused3

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World has done extensive research & put together crowd level estimates (which are evidently very, very reliable). If you buy the book (which I highly recommend--it's the best, most comprehensive, funniest, unbiased WDW book I've read), you have free access to the web site. Otherwise, you can subscribe to their website for a small fee. It's well worth it, because they'll tell you which park to go to on which day of your trip based on a variety of factors that determine crowd level.:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Their website is www.***************** : They also do touring plans using a computer model & lots of research & legwork that help you get the most out of the parks.

I'm not selling anything, honest! :confused3 I have no financial stake in this stinkin website! Okay, lets play charades. 3 syllables. 1st syllable, "tour." 2nd syllable, "ing." 3rd syllable, sounds like "cans", and it's what you draw up when you build a house. Starts w/ "pl"

Or, if you like: Star Tours - Star, -s; ring -r; plane -e +s.

If this doesn't work, you'll have to buy the Unofficial Guide & get the site from there!

Yep. I bought mine at Barnes & Noble I think. It's 818 pages, and details every resort (down to the pillows!):cloud9: , every gift shop (no joke), reviews every table service AND counter service restaurant at the parks & resorts, plus lots of reviews for eats outside the world, every attraction, it's very thorough! It's also really well organized, so it's really easy to just pick through and read the sections you need. No color photos, but if you need to see pics in full color, the allears website (which ends in "net") has pics of every resort & attraction.

Thanks, my wife just got a gift card for Borders for her birthday maybe I can be sneaky about it and talk her into getting that with her money. I will tell her that it is an requirement for her trip planning. :)
