Will the new Cinderella movie affect the Parks? (Minor spoiler alert)

Given that Disney seem to be all about consistency with stories, will the new movie move on the "narrative" around the Cinderella story in the Parks? Or do the live action movies not count, with the story purely based on the original animated versions?

E.g. Do we now start calling Prince Charming "Kit" as that is clearly what he now prefers to be known as? Will the Cinderella character do the same? For that matter, should we (and Disney) now refrain from calling her "Cinderella" at all, given that we now learn that this is a cruel name given to her by her Step Sisters? Surely we should refer to her as just "Ella". "Ella Castle" anyone?

In fact, should Lady Tremaine and the Step Sister even be seen alongside Ella and Kit anymore given that the former have left the kingdom never to be seen again?

No. If you talk to the characters about the movie they call it a story that is written about them. And they will interact with you about that story, for example the stepsisters made comments about how their hair was not the same in the movie etc

Yes, but the characters are based on the Disney movies (I assume) rather than the often grotesque fairy tale book versions. Given that this is now another official Disney movie about the characters does this move that on?

I am not sure I understand the question but I had probably a five-minute interaction with the stepsisters about their new story that is out and they referred to it as a story about them and did not take on any of those characteristics. There is merchandise in the park with the new Cinderella themed dolls from the movie but the Cinderella characters have not changed in anyway nor do I expect them to

I agree with the others--no.

No, the characters will say that the new live action movie about them is just a story written about them. We had fun on our last trip talking to Aurora about the Maleficent movie. She had a few fun things to say about that one! The live action films aren't necessarily a side by side with their animated counterparts. They get inspiration from them, but they aren't viewed as having the same canon line of continuity.
