Also joining us for the trip and staying at POP are my friend Heather and her daughters B and K. I will ask her tonight it if is ok to share names and pics. H and I met in a Mom's Club in Az an have been friends for since we were pg with the "littles' So for almost 6 years!!! She and her family moved to Florida-West Palm area back in June. We were able to meet up for a few days during our Sep trip and are very excited to meet up again. Heather and Kathy will get along very well. We all have similar crazy-sarcastic personalities.

I will get back on tonight to do intros but wanted to thank everyone for joining in!!

for major girls trip. I think that if more men had guy-friends the way we women have bff/girlfriends, then there would be so much less fighting in the world (except at a shoe sale)

January is hit or miss for the temps and the pool. We swam during both of our january trips, though the second trip we mostly 'swam" in the hot tub ...it was cold! but Katie insisted and hey, we are from the NE we can handle it!

...... into Old Key West because there are two queen beds rather than a bed and a pull-out...she figured it would be more comfortable with two beds. This was absolutely fine with me because Mark and I really liked Old Key West a lot.

We all arrive on January 26. Mary and the girls fly, if I'm remembering correctly, around 4 or 4:30 (Mary correct me if I am wrong). My plane, barring a Chicago winter storm (I will be saying LOTS of prayers) arrives around 6 p.m.

I am looking forward to more OKW stories. Looks like a relaxing resort...too bad I never seem to relax at WDW!

Mary your girls are so totally adorable I just want to scoop them up and give them big hugs. I have never met Iridessa - what a nice picture. the Fairies are so nice and fun. We enjoyed seeing them last may.

Minnies House..... I truly hope Minnie's house is in storage and will come back out some day. I just loved Minnies house, and my memories of Katie exploring absolutely everything in there.

Definitely have your friend bring a bottle of your fav adult mixer - that saved us tons of $ when we brought our own rum....all we did was refill our mugs with diet coke. yay ;-) shhh we did it with Kahlua and then filled our mugs with half and half. Now THAT was a deliciously HUGE drink

I am going to try to remember to have my camera out and it on the video set to get their reaction.

I cannot believe that Christmas is six days away? Where did the month go?

Is anyone ready for an update to our plans? Our trip is a short 38 days away.

We are up to our second full day at DW--Saturday, January 28. We will be going to Animal Kingdom this day. As you know from Mary's introductions, Avery loves the animals and wants to work with animals/medicine when she grows up.

I am sure we will hit up a few of these:

And I have a REALLY BAD feeling that Mary is going to be make me do this next one with the girls:

I'm sure we'll also go to Rafiki's Planet, as well.

We have no park plans this night. HS has EMH's, but neither of the girls have ever been miniature golfing at Disney and I thought that would be a fun treat. Or maybe we can take them to the Boardwalk to see the jugglers, etc.

Mary, the girls are beyond cute, they always have been. I can't get over how big they are getting!! I know logically kids are always getting bigger, but you just don't realize it until you've missed them for a while. It's so sweet of you to invite Ms. Kat to come along with you and the girls. I'm curious....what kinds of restrictions did they place on the DVC owners who were buying in as a secondary? Thank goodness you got in before they made the change.

Ms. Kat, your pictures are so great! I especially love the one of y'all at the Contemporary. I didn't realize Mark use to have curly hair! Too cute. And the boys were beyond adorable in that picture.

Hurray for an AK day in the cool weather with low crowds. We have never had both at the same time. I do not think we have ever been to Camp Minniw/Mickey....I would like to see FOTLK this trip-have seen Nemo the last 2. As for EE Avery is a yes and Cay is a maybe. My friend Heather will go if you don't want to. Her older DD is a big chicken. Golfing also sounds fun though Cay gets very frustrated by it at times. We ill have to pick somewhere yummy to eat for dinner.
