Hello old and new friends. Welcome to a very unexpected pre-trip report.

For those of you who may have missed the news on my currently running trip report or for anyone new who joins in here on the pre-trip report, here are the details of how this trip came about.

MaryAZ posted on her Facebook wall that she was doing a mother/daughter trip in February. I posted back and asked "can I be your daughter too?" Mary replied, "there's room and you can come too." I told her that I didn't think Mark would EVER let me go to Disney World without him since he is such a kid at heart. But then again....Mark is going to Vegas in February without me (who cares that it is for work...he is getting away from Chicago in the winter time). I told Mary I would talk to Mark and see what he said but I didn't have high hopes that he would be agreeable to it.

In the meantime, I got on the train to come home and Mary and I kept texting back and forth. She changed the dates to January 26 - 31 because flights were cheaper. I told her I'd let her know what Mark said.

So Mark and I got home and we were sitting at dinner and I brought the subject up to him. At first, he looked at me like I was absolutely nuts. Then I told him that the dates were originally February, but changed to January, and I had wanted to do something special around this time anyway as it was the five-year anniversary of me being cancer free. I said to him, "what better way to celebrate five years" than spending it at Disney with Mary and her adorable girls?" That was the trick...he said, sure go ahead.

And there you have it...I'm going to Disney with my good friend Mary and her adorable girls, Cayley and Avery.

Finally here. The DIS has been giving me a fit.

Still trying to catch up on the last pages of Uppy uppy but every time I change pages I wait for at least 10-20 min until I can actually load the page.

Isn't that just normal for the DIS? That is a BIG reason why I am so far behind. I spend all day being patient with the kids that by the time I get some free time to DIS I don't have any patients left to wait.............

Subbing! I hope I have a chance to keep up. I can't keep up with the threads I sub to now....

I am so happy that you will be 5 years cancer free!!!!!! I know someone else who is going to hit the 5 year mark this year too!!!

Earlier today it would take forever to load. At work it would finally load but it took like 1-2 minutes. At home - it times out and I have to refresh. I refreshed so many times explorer would lock up.

I know! Seriously, IE was driving me insane. I kept hitting the refresh too and then it would kick me out, over and over and over again.

Ya, um hm. Not buying it Tim. You should stick with the "I have a new beautiful baby and my time is limited" excuse for your lack of updates. Way more believable. Either that or you've been so wrapped up in Dancing with the Stars Monday and Tuesday nights...

OK, here is the scoop. Reason:
1) Baby
2) Baby that doesn't take naps
3) Being chauffeur- driving Juliana to all her activities
4) Being totally shot- where I cannot even concentrate to read or respond to TRs
5) I started cleaning carpets p/t again to help out friends of the family (and to make a few extra $$)
6) Did I mention baby?
