Will the addition of the OKW slide end pool hopping for good????

Am I reading this correctly? You were there for 8 days and went to 3 member updates!!! Wow! I am lucky if I make one in a 2 week trip!

As far as what the CMs said about pool hopping being here to stay.....I wish I could believe this, but I don't. Unfortunately CMs have been known to say things that are not always correct. I was part of 2 different DVC focus groups in the past and the impression those CMs gave was it was only a matter of time until pool hopping ceased. Developments since then also seem to be going in that direction....but time will tell.

I'm a new DVC'er so I haven't had the opportunity to pool hop, but I can't say it's something I'd be interested in. The only other pool that my kids LOVE is Stormalong Bay and I can't hop there anyway. I'm hoping the SSR pool will be just as fun for them. For myself, a nice lounge chair and a tropical drink with some water to dip into to cool off in is all I need. And the closer to my room to change when I'm done, the happier I am.

As a SSR owner, I'm glad they are putting a slide in at OKW. Perhaps this will lessen the amounts of families that take the boat over to SSR just to have use of a cool slide. I'm sure it'll be more fun for them to have a home slide, and may make SSR less crowded.
