Will TarzansKat meet Captain Jack? ~A Pirate's Life for 3 Pre-Trippie~ We're back!

Nice new shoes!!!

Lovin' the Caribbean blue trip binder! :thumbsup2 Let me know when you get printer ink and we will move to phase 2! :lmao:

Will you take a pic of the watch and candy?

Happy Early 6th Anniversary!!!

Hurray for the official vacation!

Holy Shoe Drama. I think you need to step away from the shoes. This from the LL that is currently trying to squeeze every pair of shoes she owns into her honeymoon suitcase. It's not going well if you care to know.

I love love love the color of your binder. Very appropriate. My little white binder looks sad, but I wanted a small so you have to make sacrafices people.

Question....do you carry a bag in the parks? I am just wondering as I am having bag drama and would like to know what others do.

I really love those flip flops, I'm very happy with them, so I'm hoping my new strategy is just peachy.

Can you at least give me a direction as to how you separate your binder? I can get my dividers ready at least.:thumbsup2

Will you take a pic of the watch and candy?
Sure, if you want me to. I'll do it tomorrow night while DH is at work.

Happy Early 6th Anniversary!!!
:goodvibes Thanks!

I think even Tink herself would tell me to step away from the shoes at this point.

Want to know the best part, huh, huh, huh? I got it ON SALE!

Question....do you carry a bag in the parks? I am just wondering as I am having bag drama and would like to know what others do.

I think if you thought about this you would realize why I am DED!:rotfl2:

I have a three year old.::yes::

Just kidding! Do you mean do I carry a bag personally? No. We use a backpack to carry diapers, wipes, extra clothes for DS, pajamas, some snacks, his drink cups, some toys/books to keep him occupied in sit down restaurants, my wallet, my cell, the camera, my cheat sheet of all our ADRs...etc, etc. So do I carry an additional bag? Sometimes I take this purse from Old Navy I've had since high school. It's small, and messenger style, and an autograph book fits great in the back pocket, and there's a slot for a pen. But I usually only take this if I know I'll be going off with mom and nana and leaving the boys. This trip, since we're a pirate's life for three, I don't forsee any splitting up really. So a backpack it is!

If you want me to post a pic of my purse, I can do it...if I can find it.:scared1:

I know you had to have something, I was just trying to make you feel young and free.
I am going to try out the bag I have on the cruise when we go venture on the island to see if I like it. I dunno, I need something besides a camera case for the camera b/c I am worried it will get wet or ruined, I like the extra protection. I just don't know. :lmao:

I appreciate you doing the thinking for me and sparing me after a long day of work/travel/dinner preparation/when can I get on the DIS boards angst!:rotfl2:

Seriously, these flip flops are comfy. But I did wear them to the World last year, and they are not good for all day touring. So I have a new strategy R2...let the wookie win...no, that's not it...use the Force, Luke...no, that's not it either...oh yes! I'm going to switch between these flip flops and my comfy sneakers I use to work out in every day. Perhaps...just perhaps...if a coupon code tickles my fancy, I'll try some other sandals out. But that remains to be seen...in future chapters...which hopefully, will not all be devoted to shoes. Not that there's anything wrong with that (TINK!) ;) .

::yes:: I switched shoes, mostly, while I was there. Worked out great--never had sore footsies! :thumbsup2

And hurray for official set dates and the birth of the Trip Binder! Even if it's not prettified yet. But hey, I think that's the way it goes with most babies. It takes a smidgeon of time for them to get cute.

Question....do you carry a bag in the parks? I am just wondering as I am having bag drama and would like to know what others do.

I had a bag--it's the one pictured in my TR. More than roomy enough for a pocketbook, umbrella (which I did need), credit card receipts that I needed to keep, snacks, etc., and I didn't have to take it off for rides if I didn't want to--just pull it around so the bag part sat on my chest rather than my back.

I like the way that bag looks, what kind is it, I can't read the tag. :rotfl2:

Sadly, although I traveled through the land of Wal-Mart (you know how hard it is to anchor your ship there?) and found my binder, in a nice carribean blue, and purchased some paper to print out all the info I could ever want/need for this trip, I was not completely successful in my endeavors! ALAS I tell you! They were out of our printer ink. And we're practically out of our printer ink. Blast! So, I'll have to check back, and I was really hoping to get cracking on this over the weekend...with Prof. CP's approval, of course.

LOVE the binder color!

I saw on the Lapuettes thread that you saw from my TR that it was a baggallini. I also posted the eBags link to it on the Lapuettes thread, but let me know if you want any more details. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the offer. I spent about two hours online reading reviews, looking at pictures and finding a thread about DIS'ers opinions. All that led me to the REI Overland Donner bag. Which led me to the REI store, which led me to purchase the REI Overland Donner bag. I am planning on taking pics to post but I don't know if I will get to it before the wedding. I just deleted all my pics off my memory cards so I have two "fresh" ones and I am feeling lazy. :rotfl2: I was thinking the baggallini would be too big and the Overland Donner bag works well for DF, the strap is longer though he is not crazy of the purple color. Real Men Wear Purple. It's the new Pink. :rotfl2:
Anyways...I think my fingers just had word vomit after that long type-y response. THANKS JIRI!! :goodvibes

:goodvibes Glad you found a bag, and yes, post pictures after you're back from the honeymoon. We'll be waiting! :thumbsup2

So my plan is this...commandeer a vessel, pick up a crew in Tortuga...oh no, sorry...

I was gonna say. Aren't we totally doing this THIS weekend?

my plan is this...commandeer a vessel, kidnap Jack Sparrow...no, that's not it...

Nope. That's totally September.

OH RIGHT!!!...my plan is to wait until July like I said I was originally.

:goodvibes

Or is it just Batman Reeses?

Let me just say that my idea of Batman Reeses are probably different from everyone else's idea of Batman Reeses. I mean, really they have all the same ingredients but one:

1. chocolate
2. peanut butter
and this is the most important one:
3. Christian Bale

And that's all I have to say about that. I'm not trying to get myself booted off the DIS y'all.

They just don't make me feet go ahhh...when I tried them on initially, they felt good, but the size nine is just too big and doesn't provide the support Merrells are known for because it's not properly fitting my foot and if this sentence could possibly get any longer I think I'd have give up my near perfect score on the written portion of the SATs.

Longest. Sentence. Ever. Award.

Well, that being said, I'm done with shoes.

:faint:

Tink, it's okay, pick yourself up off the floor.

I'm done with shoes...for now.

:faint:

And now you know that Tink and I are really related, as it's become apparent by the past several paragraphs, that I too, am obsessed with shoes.:rotfl2:

I am SO proud.

But that remains to be seen...in future chapters...which hopefully, will not all be devoted to shoes. Not that there's anything wrong with that (TINK!) ;) .

AHEM.

On Sunday, DH and I will have been married for six years.

I hope your anniversary was wildly romantical.

The traditional gift is iron and candy.

Um. Hm. Wildly romantical. I have about 75.26 comments here. Non appropriate. Moving on...

The reason he's asking is because today at work, his boss asked him when it was. And then said, "well, we'll need to mark it down on the calendar." and then joked that DH was a pain in the but or some other macho manly comment that meant I'm not thrilled your going against me, but hey I need you if I have a snowball's chance in you know where of selling my business, and since I don't want to unduly anger you and risk losing you, I'm going to let you take this completely unpaid leave.

1. Second. Longest. Sentence. Award. Ever.
2. Testosterone addles the brain.

I sincerely hope you had a wonderful anniversary. The BF and I don't call it an anniversary. We've entitled the holiday as "Our Day".

Aah. How I've missed my TK.

But seriously, girlie, you have any more shoe drama and I'm driving down there and there will be footwear related consequences!

I'm game if you are.

Please don't. You're too much fun not to be allowed here.

Longest. Sentence. Ever. Award.
Foreshadowing?

I hope your anniversary was wildly romantical.
Actually it was a great time. During which I told DH he needed to date me more. I miss dating. Like, going out and having a good time. We never do that, and it's fun dagnabit!

Um. Hm. Wildly romantical. I have about 75.26 comments here. Non appropriate. Moving on...
Oh, honey, we did too. I just didn't post them!

1. Second. Longest. Sentence. Award. Ever.
See I told you about that foreshadowing thing!
2. Testosterone addles the brain.
Moreso than estrogen I believe. You know what actually did the guy in? My DS. He told DH he couldn't imagine keeping him from a vacation with his son. That your kids don't always want to go places with you when they get older, and he felt unfair telling DH he couldn't go. I suppose my bringing the little nugget in dressed in Mickey Mouse t-shirts didn't help that guilt either.:thumbsup2

Aah. How I've missed my TK.
Right back at you, babe. With some welling of tears and lump in the throat. But in a good way.

But seriously, girlie, you have any more shoe drama and I'm driving down there and there will be footwear related consequences!
Is that a promise? I can make more shoe drama, I swear I can!;)

My mom and dad, who are in their late 40's/early 50's respectively, date all the time. So much so that if I want to hang out, I need to make an appointment!

And I'm so not kidding.

Moreso than estrogen I believe.

BF refutes this. He said this weekend, "You women are crazy." Then he waited two beats and without any further hesitation said, "I love you, honey."

Boy knows what's good for him.

PIRATE.

BORG.

Absatively posalutely.

Darn tootin'! Much like DH, who has a bit of headache and has taken some tylenol and is going to take a little siesta, said, "go play." Translation. "DIS to your heart's content woman, I know it makes you happy."

Alright folks, so TK's been ridin' the zen wave in regards to the whole trip planning thing.

However, my ocd planner side...whatwhosaidthat...begs to have a place to put all the information that I've learned on these here fantabulous boards.

So the trip binder is in the works, along with another update.

Promise.

K?

Pirate.;)

"go play." Translation. "DIS to your heart's content woman, I know it makes you happy."

Perhaps DH should give BF lessons.

Last night while we were watching the SPIKE "Man Awards", which he had recorded from Sunday night, I said, "You don't mind if I'm on the internet while we watch, do you?" To which he replied, "Nope." Then, "How's your friend? Ummm, Kat? She the Connecticut one, right? Not the one that's getting married?"

Aw. BF is making an effort to keep my DIS friends straight.

:woohoo:

Ain't nuttin' better than a Cabbage Patchin' Skittle.

Okay, is it sappy that I'm really touched by the fact that your BF is trying to keep us all straight and amongst the crazy mix actually remembers who I am? Aww....now I feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
