Will TarzansKat meet Captain Jack? ~A Pirate's Life for 3 Pre-Trippie~ We're back!

Depends on my budget, I guess and if I got MNSSHP one a previous trip...don't know if I would want to do both...what do you guys think?

Haunted Mansion would be fun too. I was wondering if we would do MVMCP....what does everyone think?

I would like to... My mom went and loved having hot coco and pepermint sticks...

I would love to people watch with you! I think we do have a lot in common. I love to people watch the families especially, it can either be really sweet or really really funny. A snack is a must

People watching is sooo much fun!

2SP you will have to take a fabby shot of yourself while you are on you WDW trip!

Totally and we will bring the flat you everywhere!

I am not sure. I would like to say yes, but it depends on money. Are you planning on doing it on your trip in December? I don't know what they offer during it. I have only researched the MNSSHP.

I have limited knowledge, but what I do know is that they have free hot chocolate and cookies, you can meet Santa, dressed up characters, a special parade, and it snows on Main Street. Other than that, not sure. Oh, and the castle is supposed to be gorgeous, all covered in lights.

We actually will not go on this trip. Mom wants me to say I'll go an extra day. I am sooooo not ready to do four days without my little peanut. Three I can handle, it's only two nights really. Four, and I'm bringing him and that defeats the purpose of eating at Citricos, know what I mean?

HMMMM, yep I don't think Lapu Lapu's have quite the same effect as an epidural;) .....I think you need to drink B52 shooters for that effect:lmao:

Also if it was a girl you'd HAVE TO name it Kirsteen in honour of the fact that I couldn't be there
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I have to admit epidurals scare the begeezums out of me. I react very badly to any type of pain medication. I get very paranoid and think people are going to kill me. A lot of people in my family react that way. No one close to me in my family has ever had an epidural either so it frightens me. :scared1: Not that giving birth doesn't scare the begeezums out of me too. :lmao:

Yes, I second the flat 2SP! And that picture is beautiful, who takes these shots of your daughter? She looks so grown-up!

Oh, my favorite one is when mom tells me DS eats too much junk. Meanwhile, there's lollipops, sugary cereals, gummy fruit snacks at her house. Mind you, she doesn't do it all the time, but some days he eats crap. And it bothers me. I've mentioned it and it goes in one ear, out the other. I get told, you do it too. Ugh. As a parent, shouldn't I be allowed to buy the kid some Apple Jacks as a treat when he's been good? No, I have to avoid junk like the plague because he has it so much over there. Then I go nuts, because there's nothing fun and buy two half galloons of ice cream over the weekend for me and DH. Not good for my waistline!!!

Oh FEELING YOUR PAIN. I'll see your mum's story and raise your a FIL story....recently I came home to work to the usual run down of 'what the princess has done today' "...she had cereal (good), then a packet of smokey bacon crisps (potato chips), then another packet of crisps, then soup for lunch, then an ice cream and a couple of Moawam bars :scared1: ...oh yes and then a packet of Magic Stars:faint: ". "Eh that's really way to much sugar and salt for a wee person", the golden response........wait for it....you're going to LOVE this one......."But she likes them!!" :faint: . A whole weeks worth of treats in one 10 hour period. Bloody good job they're not in charge of Amy Winehouses rehab eh?!?!?!

I forgot about the Castle being all pretty. I have seen pictures and it's so beautiful. Okay.....I would go. ::yes:: :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: OKay, the Amy Winhouse comment made me laugh out loud and snort while laughing. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I know exactly what you mean, I didn't have an epiduaral with DD12 because I was too scared and also because the Diamorphine worked a treat:hippie:

With DD2 it was so quick I got nothing, zip, nada:bitelip: , but because it was so quick the placenta didn't come away and I had to get an epidural so that they could remove it.....I know eeewwwww. But to be honest when I did get it I thought, what the hell was I scared of:confused:

Oh, honey. An epidural is nothing. And don't let people scare you with labor horror stories. Nearing the end of my pregnancy, one of my mom's friends gave me an exact account of what it's really like. Truthfully, it was the most helpful advice I got. She was matter of fact, and described it bluntly, and because of her I had a much better idea of what to expect. And, she was right.

Again, about the horror stories. I was very blessed with a great labor. I had back pain all weekend, so I knew something was up. Couldn't get comfortable, DH, mom, dad and I were watching the Superbowl. The Patriots won. I remember that distinctly. OB had me planned to be induced on Wednesday, but wanted one last check-up on Monday. I told DH to come with me, we both had a feeling, so the car seat was already installed, we took the bag o stuff.

When they checked me at the office, I was 4 cm and in the middle of contraction. Truthfully, I barely felt them until they started poking around in there. :lmao: I got checked in at the hospital around 1230pm. I remember the car ride distinctly. It wasn't painful, I was in a good mood, very excited, and the sun was shining, a beautiful crisp day. So not what they picture in movies and on tv, eh?

DS was born around 830-845pm. I made it all the way to 7cm without an epidural, and then opted for some relief. At that point, I couldn't breathe my way through the contractions anymore and I was hyperventilating. Not to scare you, I know my body and knew it was time. Whoa, is that epidural a lovely, lovely thing.:thumbsup2

DS was feisty, even being born. On the fetal monitor, you could hear him kicking me on the way out. What an active little bugger huh?

God bless him.

Off-topic sidetrack over.:goodvibes

Are you living my life just in a different country?

Can I tell you how many times I've heard well he likes it.

Oh lord! It's not funny, but it is!:rotfl2:

You will have to give me the honest chat when the time comes. :rotfl:::yes:: I just don't want a bad reaction to it. I know it's something I can get through, I am one of the biggest wimps ever but when it comes to something like this, there is no other way out. :lmao:

I'll be happy to. Let's, however, save that until after the deed is done, shall we? It's best not to discuss these things prior to conception. Otherwise, the population would die out!

Just kidding...it's not that bad, and I'll happily have "the talk" with you.:thumbsup2
