Will Royal Pacific lose the Unlimited Express benefit in the future?

OK, I admit it... I'm still a few weeks away from my upcoming Uni trip but I'm already looking at options for next year....

I love RPR for many reasons... but since Uni has started grouping it with Sapphire Falls in their official communications, I'm wondering how likely it is that RPR will eventually lose the Express Pass benefit.

I'd hope that if I booked RPR in the near future for October/November 2016, and then the benefits changed after I'd booked, they'd either
*honor benefits that were current as of the time of booking
or
*honor the quoted price at either PB or HRH

Thoughts???

I don't think so, based on the chart they published that includes Sapphire Falls with different benefits even though they are in the same Preferred category. If the price points for RPR stay where they are, I think they are going to have to retain the EP in order to stay booked.

Its possible... Or more likely RP would get reduced benefits (can only use EP once at each ride rather than unlimited). If they did that they would surely need to revise the pricing of the hotels - as it stands now RP and Hard Rock are usually pretty close to the same price, and PB isn't that much more.

By putting RP into the new category it looks like they are trying to have a comparison between the Disney hotels (Deluxe / Moderate/ Value). Since they already have different benefits for CB, it wouldn't surprise me if they had different benefits for RP.

Won't happen. EP benefit will continue at RPR...........

Why would anyone stay there if those benefits didn't exist?

Agreed. Just about everyone would stay at CBR if they took EP away.

I love RPR, but you can get a suite with a kitchenette at CBR for significantly cheaper. If the benefits were the same it would be a no brainer.

They aren't adding another deluxe hotel anytime soon so I don't really see any reason why they'd cut that many people out of the FOTL pass program if they aren't having capacity problems.

Maybe they are grouping them because they will both cater to conventions by adding more conference rooms and being connected.

Absolutely!

They are going to be sharing the big ballroom and both feature convention heavy reservations.

That's it. EP is going nowhere for RP.

That is the reasoning. Also to justify SBR they are slightly bigger rooms for less than RPR.
