Will Ohana seat 5 of us, when my reservation is for 4?

My sister decided to join us on our vacation after I had already gotten a reservation for just the 4 of us at Ohana. There are no longer any times available for the day we want to go. Will the restaurant seat the 5 of us, when our reservation is for 4?

You can try, but be prepared to be told no (or have a long wait depending on how busy they are). If there is nothing available for a party of 5, it's unlikely they will be able to seat you when you arrive. The problem is, right now you are reserved for a 4 top table, but would require a 5 top table, which may or may not be available upon arrival. Ohana is very popular and books up fast. I would keep trying every day multiple times a day to get an ADR for 5 as people do cancel all the time. If you are not successful before your trip, maybe arrive early for your ADR and see if they can accommodate you. Good luck.

As the PP said, you may or may not be accommodated if you show up with an extra person. If it was an unpopular restaurant, I would say the chances are pretty good, but 'Ohana is very popular and tends to run behind schedule anyway.

I would keep looking for an ADR for with 5 or 6 people. It's a well known glitch (at least here on the Disboard), that the Disney ADR system doesn't always see an odd numbered party as the same as the even numbered party (i.e., it doesn't know that 5 people can sit at a table for 6). So you might find more availability if you bump up to the next even number. I've had to do this before when hunting for a table for 3 (no availability for 3, but there was availability for 4).

Most likely (you may have to wait longer) but possibly not.

Try to make a new reservation but be prepared to be told no. I'm having the same problem so I called and they told it has to do with the fire code they're only allowed to let a certain amount of people in at a time even if one of the guests in your party is an infant. They count the baby as a guest as well! Good luck

I've been in the same situation several times when some of my local friends decide they have the time to meet up with my last minute. Never been turned away or told no flat out, but I have had to wait for 40mins. (We didn't care, because we hit the bar!)
