Will oct/nov be busier than normal this year for any reason?

With all the craziness going on im wondering if there is anything significant in oct/nov that will affect crowds??
What about talk of refurbs or closures? Where is the best place to watch as things change with this star wars stuff? Is anything else slated to be opened or closed around those times for construction?


Will the castle be covered possibly to take the diamonds off??

The 60th Celebration is officially ending beginning of September, so you'd think anything they were going to do would be done by October. But who knows.

Not sure about this year but we went in oct 2013, end of sept 2014, and early November 2015. November was by far the least crowded with the exception of saturday (weekends always crowded it seems). Mid- October 2013 wasn't too bad at all...I think you just need to avoid gay days/CHOC walk/Columbus day/Utah breaks if you are going for October dates. For me, the halloween stuff just isn't worth the extra people. End of sept was ok just extremely hot.
