Will Nintendo DS ever be less than $129???

This is all my DD wants for Christmas. Knowing that, I feel like picking it up this weekend and putting it away. But the bargain shopper in me can't stand thinking that it will go on sale between now and Christmas.

We do NOT want the new Nintendo DSi (with the camera) -- just the DS (lite?).

I think a while back Target had them on sale for $99. My guess is with the new DSi, the older model will be cheaper this christmas.

Check the Black Friday sales; you may be able to get some game bundles along with the DS for the same price you would pay today for just the DS.

Also watch TRU for bundle deals. Sometimes that have really good deals where you can pick a game, accessory, and the DS for one good price.

walmart.com has a bundle deal for I think $159. You get the ds, two games and an accessory package.

Is there a big difference in the DS and the DSI?

There is a camera with DSi, a home screen, bigger screen, you can shop on a DSi store thru wi-fi. The one thing is cannot do that the DS lite can do is play Game Boy Advance games. We have a lot of of GBA games so this was a big consideration for us. Good luck with your decision.
