Will new cruiser booked in room with CC silver get lanyard and gift in room?

My two kids and I are taking my Dad on a Merrytime cruise in December (so excited first Merrytime trip!!).
My kids and I are silver Castaway Cay. This is my Dads first cruise. We have two rooms; one for my daughter and I and other for my son and Dad. Will my son and Dad's room have the gift since Dad is a new cruiser? Will they give my Dad a lanyard or should I bring him one? Trying to get everything my Dad needs in advance since he is new to this. Thanks!

Yes and No. Only 1 gift per a room so doesn't matter if there are multiple CC members or not in the same room there is only the 1 gift. If no member is in the room then there is no gift even if it is linked to a member room. Lanyards are given based on individual level. So my friend got Gold and we got the Gold gift but we got silver lanyards since we are only silver.

The 2nd room will have a gift because your son is silver but only he will get a lanyard.

When you check in, ask if your dad may have a lanyard also. I feel pretty sure they will give him one.

On our kids' first cruise, they gave me and DH silver lanyards but would not give the kids one!

My kids and I are all CC Members, last year was DH first cruise, when they handed all the lanyards they gave one to DH as well, she said she wouldn't want him to feel left out. I'm sure if you ask you can all have one

Probably depends on who checks you in. My husband, myself and oldest son were silver when we cruised last spring. My youngest son was not silver - it was his first cruise. The lady gave him a silver lanyard even though I did not ask and did not expect them to. It was very thoughtful.

I've been denied a lanyard for one in our party so it does depend who you happen to get checking you in.

Slightly sneaky, but you can also ask for one as guest services upon boarding.

I would think it depends on who you get at the terminal check in.
That being said, you could always buy him one (or more) on EBAY along with the pirate bandanas that everyone will get for pirate night anyway.
