Will my mother have to be with us at each meal to use her DDE card?

I have had a DDE for 3 years and I have never been asked for ID.

Do you pay with a credit card or your room charge? If so they probably match the DDE card name to the payment name. That's what I figure since we are rarely asked for ID unless someone else is paying or we are paying with cash
