Will my kids be disappointed in the pool at RPR?

My kids love to swim and do slides. We own at the Beach Club and sometimes they don't want to leave the pool and go to the resorts. Last summer we stayed at HRH and the kids enjoyed the pool. And had fun playing the pool games. How is the pool at RPR?? There isn't a slide is there??

There is no slide but there is a great interactive water area.

My step son loved the pool...we could hardly get him out of it! There are lots of activities that go on there. I don't know if you can do this, but if you don't like the pool, can't you pool hop to HRH?

Never stayed at HRH, only PBH twice , but usually RPR. I found more games at RPR compared with PBH, and DD got bored very quickly with the slide.
She loves the pool at RPR, and there is always the Volley Ball in the pool, great way for kids and adults to get involved, and great fun once you get a lot playing.
They will love it.

Yes , as a universal resort guest you can hop to any pool at Universal resorts

Thanks everyone. We stayed at HRH last summer and we really enjoyed it but I wanted to try somewhere new. I'm really leaning towards RPR.

If you guys really need a slide fix, you could just make a pool day out of one day and go hit the Portifino's pool, best pool out of the 3 iMO with a great castle that has a slide in it.

You might think this is a silly question ...but...

Ill be travelling with only adults in Oct and was wondering which resort/pools, if any at U are "better suited" for adults (least amt of kids) and is the water deeper than 5 feet?? Thanks in advance.

Just my opinion, but all of the pools are about the same in that regard, with the exception of the Roman pool discussed below. All probably will have some kids, I wouldn't say any is more suited for adults or children, they all kind of have things for both really, and all are a little different and have different themes.

Now the Portifino does have the Roman pool or whatever its called, that is kind of a nice large square/rectangle type traditional pool that has cabanas, I do believe that they try to make that the "adult" pool, but I am not totally sure about that. P has I think 3 pools in all. One is pretty small, one is the roman, one is the really cool large pool with sand beach zero entry with the castle/waterslide and it has a waterfall coming off the castle. That is actually my favorite out of all the pools on site.

The Villa Pool at portofino bay, it is ideal for adults.
