Without buying TOT tickets?
So is it dusky or dark at 6:00 in Anaheim right now (we leave in 2 days!). Kids were making plans and one was to ride screamer in the dark.
We don't want to do TOT because I have one child with a peanut allergy and nother who is Type 1 (insulin dependent) diabetic, so trick or treating isn't high on their lists of to dos (son doesn't mind, he would get all the candy ;)).

So I am just wondering when does it get dark down there?

I think it starts getting dark in Anaheim around 8:00 right now. I am in Utah (mountain time) and it starts getting dark here around 7:00 and they are an hour ahead of us. HTH...:goodvibes

I think I can help. My husband was an atmospheric science major and he gave me the rundown on how this works.

We are in San Jose, about 350 miles from Anaheim. Since we are past the fall equinox, Anaheim will get dark a little later than us. It gets dark here a little before 7:00 p.m. Right now, it's almost 6:00 p.m. and we can still see the sun. So at 6:00 p.m. in Anaheim, it will still be plenty light. I hope this helps!:)

Yes, it helps... but I guess it means the kids won't be able to ride DCA rides in the dark with out getting T or T passes... Shucks.

I'm just under an hours drive east and it's 6:30 and no where near dark. Sorry.

I'm about an hour or so north of Anaheim, and between 6:30 and 7:00 it's getting dark. Actually dark by 7.

I was in the parks a few days ago. It was dark by about 7 to 7:30. I can sympathize with your son. I love riding California Screamin in the dark.

Sunset, note: not darkness, is around 6:20pm in about a week. I know this because 10/10 is my anniversary and our entire wedding was planned around sunset. Therefore, this week, it will not be dark at 6:30pm.

OK, it looks like we will have to save all our CA night rides for Sat. Oct. 10.... something to look forward to... Yeah Disney here we come!
