Shoot, there were people swimming in the pools at night in January. They may have been members of the Polar Bear Club, but I would take my suit in March for sure (Dude).
Our grands swim no matter what the temperature outside. We were the ones suffering, sitting watching them in the 30's LOL. In talking with people around the pool, it seems the ones doing most of the swimming in cold cold weather are us guys from the North!
We have gone in march a few times some times it hot sometimes not so hot but every time we get at least two days that we can go to the pool. the pools are heated and the kids have a great time
We swam in Dec/early Jan a few years ago - The pools were heated and we used sweats we didn't care about to dash back to the room.
We had left 14 degree weather in Norther Virginia so 50 felt nice and warm!!
Also, if you swin in the ocean up north in the summer the pools at Disney are warmer than the Atlantic in August
We stayed at CSR last Feb. and DS (11) swam. During the day, the temps were in the high 70's-low 80's. The pool was heated, but it is alot of water to heat and if there is a cold snap or no sun for a few days, the water gets cold. I think the water temp was in the 60's. My son didn't mind, but I stayed in the hot tub.
