Will I miss anything by skipping Hogsmeade?

As a huge Harry Potter fan, Iam planning on spending a few hours at Universal just for WWOHP. However, Iam not very interested in the Hogsmeade portion of WWOHP, and would like to save a few bucks by going for the single park ticket. Diagon Alley just looks absolutely stellar though.

You will miss riding the train and IT is awesome in my opinion. I can tell you Diagon Alley is very well done and I enjoy it more than Hogsmeade

I really like Hogmeade. Especially Honeydukes the candy store. I wouldn't even think about skipping Hogsmeade. Give it a shot if you want to do something else, its a train ride over to Diagon Alley. And the train is worth seeing.

You'd be missing Hogwarts (and the ride inside). Personally, as a huge HP fan, Hogwarts is the most special place to me... The queue is actually my favorite part, although the ride is great as well. Many seem to prefer it to Gringotts. I love both; I can't choose!

Both sides are incredibly well done, though.

You got responses on your ThemeParks thread, too, by the way.

You'll be missing Hogsmeade and the Express.

As a huge HP fan, I cannot even imagine you purposely missing these things. And as I said in the other thread, you should give yourself more than a few hours.

Seeing the castle up close is something a Potter fan won't want to miss.

It's amazing and so impressive.

HE is unmissable and Hogsmeade itself is a must see, so no you shouldn't miss them.

Sure you'll miss stuff. But, truly, if you want to save money, going to Universal and only doing Diagon Alley would be fine to me, and I've suggested that to people that only want one day there. I think it will whet you appetite to come back and spend more time at Universal and IOA on another vacation.

Hogwarts is spectacular! As a huge Potter fan experiencing the castle and the ride was a dream come true. It is truly an amazing site. I don't think you would want to miss it.
