Will I make Rope Drop at MK with a 7:30 AM Reservation at Kona? Rope drop is at 9.

Yes you will make it, arrive 10 to 15min early and you should be fine!

I'm not sure what time the boats start running, but if you are able, take the boat to MK it will be faster than the monorail.

It is not a character meal and breakfast doesn't take as lunch or dinner, so I don't see why not.

I was thinking I would be close. They open at 7:30 and I lucked out and got the 7:30 ADR slot. We plan on being there about 15 - 20 minutes early. We are pretty fast eaters. (Especially when there is Magic Kingdom awaiting)

I think you'll make it -- provided that you can order quickly & not linger over your meal. You might also mention to your server that you are trying to make it to rope drop at MK, so they know that it's OK to speed you along if possible.
