Will I make my early ressie at CP by taking the monorail from the Poly?

We are staying at the Polynesian and have an 8:30 am ressie for the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom.

Last year we got a wonderful tip to make our character breakfast early before the park opens and got an amazing picture in front of the castle (less people in background). We drove to the park and I remember how long it took us to from the parking lot to the park gates. This year we are taking advantage of the monorail transport from the Polynesian

Since the park opens at 9 am that day, I believe the monorail opens at 8 am, an hour before? I changed my ressie to a bit later to allow enough time to get there. Do I have plenty of time to make my 8:30? It's a Saturday, which I would expect to be busier, and I'm not sure how long it takes to get to the magic kingdom by monorail. Or is the water launch at the Polynesian faster?

The resort monorail starts running at 6:30 or 7:00. It's only the express monorail that doesn't start running until an hour before the park opens.

The last time I asked this question a couple of week ago, I was told the resort monorail starts at 7:30. But you'd still make your ADR if this was the case.
