Will I get a second set of Magic Bands?

We are staying onsite so there is a set of magic bands in MDE. We will be buying APs about a month before we go (at DL). Will we get another set of MBs because of the APs? And would we pick them up at check in?

Disneyland doesn't have magic bands or FP+,so no.You get magic bands for your WDW resort reservations and for being a WDW passholder.

Assuming you're getting Premium APs at Disneyland....

You don't get the bands until your AP is activated. But as with everything regarding the Premiums, it's a bit questionable as to how they will work. If you activate them by using them at DL, will they they cause MDE to give you the option to get MBs? Or will you have to use them at WDW before that happens? I don't know.

If you do get that option showing up on MDE, if you first use them at DL, it will tell you if it's sending them or not. I sort of doubt, though this is just my opinion, that they would have them waiting. I have a feeling that you will get the AP MBs in the mail after the WDW trip where you use the Premium APs that I'm assuming you're getting.

Sorry, didn't specify. We are buying Premium APs at DL and will probably use them at DL first before our trip to WDW. I guess I'll wait to have them in hand and add them to MDE to see if I will be offered another set.
