I know there is really no way to tell, but is it typical with SW's great cancellation policy that the price jumps after dates are released and a bunch of people book knowing they can change/cancel later and then drop during the interim? We didn't have enough points to book immediately for our October trip and now the prices have jumped substantially. When we were looking at a May trip a couple of months ago, prices were nowhere close to that high so I'm hopeful that in a couple of months prices will drop again?
At current prices, there is no way we could afford to fly so it isn't really an option to book and hope they drop.
