First time cruisers. Will we be able to view the new Finding Dory movie on our cruise?

Movies are premiered on the ships on the same day they are released on land. There is usually a "Prem-ear" showing at midnight on the day of release.

When are you cruising? We are going on the Fantasy on 7/2 and I called Disney Cruise for the movies. We are getting:

Finding Dory (possibly in 3D)
BFG Big Friendly Giant (premiers on 7/1 -possibly in 3D)
Alice Through the Looking Glass (possibly in 3D)
Captain America Civil War
Jungle Book
Zootopia
Finest Hours
Star Wars Force Awakens
Good Dinosaur
Antman
Inside Out

Since Dory premieres tomorrow, The ship will also premiere it as well.

We got to see Big Hero 6 on the night it premiered on land, at midnight. More than likely you will be able to see Finding Dory the night it opens. :fish:

We are on the July 18 Dream cruise and are deliberately avoiding seeing Finding Dory in the theaters so we can see it during at sea day in the BV theater. We did the same thing on previous cruises for Up and Monsters University.

We're on the same cruise (7/2 Fantasy). Much appreciated for posting the list. We'd assumed Finding Dory would be there, but good to see the full list.

Finding Dory will be available on the cruise ships for many months to come. Don't worry.

Will it also be shown on a short cruise? I will be on the Disney Dream 3 night cruise next week

Thanks everyone! We are doing a 4 day cruise July 8th and no matter where I looked I could not find the answer to my movie question. Good thing I have y'all. Happy Sailing!

Just off the Fantasy yesterday. Dory started playing in 2 theaters at 11 pm the night before it opened in theaters on land. Then it played 3 or 4 times on both screens the next day. It should be in the regular rotation all summer long.

It will be shown. The challenge on a short cruise is finding time to go watch a movie because there are so many other fun things going on.
I agree! I can see the movie at home..... I felt I needed to be top side watching the ocean float by or experiencing something I can only do onboard Mickey's ship!
