I've been inspired by all of you and did pretty well selling stuff since Thanksgiving. Didn't get it all listed and still have some antique toys to auction.

I was thinking that people will be sitting around over Christmas vacation and that there would be good traffic for listing Wed. Dec 22 and having a 10 day auction that ends just after New Years Day.

Yes?? NO??

I am holding off on some eBay sales until after New Years, assuming that most people doing shopping will be doing it at the malls from the two weeks before Christmas until the day after New Years.

Well, I know I listed some stuff right after Christmas last year and it did pretty well. I thought that perhaps people were spending the money they got for Christmas. There were also a few things I wanted to buy, but they went too high for me.

I too, did some pretty good sales after Christmas last year. They had a free listing day the day after Christmas (hoping they'll have something like that again). I am planning to list as much as I can over the next few days.

The same people who shop at the malls after Christmas are the same ones who shopped at the mall BEFORE. The same people who shopped on Ebay for Christmas shop Ebay after Christmas to see what deals they can find. I won't miss out on that! :earboy2:
