Will DME take you to a resort other than that which you are staying at?

for our arrival night, we'd like to have dinner at a resort other than where we're staying... rather than going to our resort (All Star Movies), and using disney transport to get to the Wildrness Lodge (for dinner) i'd like to have DME take our luggage to ASMo and our bodies to WL... after dinner we'll use wdw transport to go to a theme park and catch the bus to our resort and check in (and by then our luggage should have arrived at our proper resort)...

is this do-able?

Sorry, the answer to your question is no, Disney won't do that for you. I've seen it asked at least once before, and a CM in-the-know answered that DME can't do that.

DRAT!! (although the answer probably just saved me some money 'cause now i'll likely wait and fly in the next morning thereby saving a night's stay at the resort)
