Will Disney trip insurance be worth it for us?

We're driving down to WDW in April. I'm booking a package that includes 1 day of park tickets and getting free dining. Once I get to WDW I'll upgrade the 1 day tickets to add days and the hopper options. I'm not sure that the insurance is worth it for us, since we won't be flying down. I figure if something comes up between now and the trip date, I can reschedule the package instead. What do you think?

The insurance would only be "worth it" if you need it, I suppose. It sounds like your chances of needing it are slim. In the same situation, I would probably skip the insurance and take the risk.

If you do choose insurance, you might want to comparison shop. When we bought insurance for a trip, we found that we could get better coverage (more coverage for the things we thought were most likely to influence our trip) for less money through a third party carrier. You aren't limited to Disney's insurance only.
