I know no halloween parties, but will the decorations still be put up? I was hoping to see Christmas lights In Nov.

Why wouldn’t they? They can decorate and not have parties.

I'm concerned it would be a money saving move. All those CMs putting up pumpkins, taking down pumpkins, putting up wreaths, taking down wreaths, the Christmas trees and gingerbread houses at the resorts and so on...

Yes, I believe they will decorate even if they aren't having parties. Its a festive feeling that guests will appreciate.

I think they will still decorate. However I think it will be scaled back, especially at the resorts. I would not expect to see the Gingerbread displays/chocolate displays, etc. Maybe at the GF, since that is a big money maker, but if they want to limit resort hopping at that point, then I doubt that will be there either. I think the parks will get their normal decorations. I also think they will still do the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs, as a draw to get people in the stores. Since MK is the only park that does a lot of Fall Decorating, I think they will still do some of it on Main Street. My guess is we will see a lot more decorated back drop areas where they will pose characters for pictures.

DIsney is a for profit business. Any decision they make will be financial. And a lot can change in a few months.

I think they will still decorate and pretty much to
The full scale as before. I know they need to save money but a lot of the decorations are already paid for and stored In a big warehouse. And with the lack of parades, shows, fireworks, and character meet and greets, the decorations are one huge way they can provide Disney magic that is not super expensive and is a great socially distanced option (since you “look but don’t touch” with decorations). Plus, decorations are pretty much all they have for you to take pictures with so they are the only thing that would make photopass actually worth getting. IMHO

also, I would just be so sad... so I have to believe it will be decked out!

I can't see them NOT doing Christmas. The big trees in the parks and the wreaths etc.

I can see a major scale back with Fall/Halloween.

I agree. I think the decoration focus will be the parks with some sprinkled at the resorts. There will be trees at the resort but they may be scaled down and I also agree the path at Disney Springs may not happen either.

I agree, I think they will decorate as usual. Even if they can't provide all the same magic with parades, fireworks, or meet & greets, they are going to at least create the holiday atmosphere. Walking around the parks will still feel festive!
